PAVAN is a non-profit charitable Organisation of social cooperation working in India. The Organisation was first registered in Khurda (Orissa) in 1995.
Today, the headquarters of the Organisation are located at the site of the main project, at Jagannatha Vallabha, Piteipur, Puri district (Orissa).
To foster international understanding and cooperation, we are organizing programmes of Responsible and Cultural Tourism, in which we work as cultural interpreters, to share the local knowledge with our visiting guests.
Our social work has grown from the campaigns for environmental awareness to the development of a deep and strong consciousness of people's needs.
We also work at mobilising resources, know-how and funds to facilitate sustainable development in India and especially in Orissa.
To educate and assist the people in general for a better quality of life at all levels, we have developed the following programmes: * primary education * seminars on sustainable development * organic agriculture and permaculture and environment protection * publications * research and development
